Each year, HP Software brings their channel partners and resellers together with HP employees to train them on both technical and sales aspects of HP software and services. Burns Marketing was selected to not only promote the event, but to handle many of the on-site details as well. Having also promoted the previous C3 event in 2001, as well as supporting an off-shoot "Boot Camp" event in 2002, Burns Marketing was able to gear up quickly for the quick turnaround of the event.
The Challenge: To recruit 600 attendees to a spring event in Orlando, Florida, as well as help develop and implement many of the logistics details, such as on-line registration, event signage and collateral, etc.
The Results: As of mid-February, 2003, over 500 people had registered, with 100-150 expected to register just weeks prior to the event.
